Hrvoje Šenjug
Biography

Hrvoje Šenjug was born in Varaždin in 1992. He completed both primary and secondary music school in his hometown, studying classical guitar with Professor Marko Žerjav. In addition to classical music, he has been performing other styles such as rock and jazz since high school, playing in various ensembles.
After passing the entrance exam, he enrolled in 2011 at the Academy of Music, University of Zagreb, where he studied classical guitar with Professor István Römer. During his studies, he also completed the Jazz Module at the Academy, gaining additional knowledge in jazz improvisation with Saša Nestorović, Elvis Penava, and many others. He graduated in 2016 with high honors (magna cum laude).
Since completing his studies, he has collaborated and recorded with various ensembles and artists, including The Quartet, nuSynergetic Orchestra, Behave Community, Fran Vasilić, Melun Quartet, Scifidelity Orchestra, and the Dixieland Band Čakovec.
He founded his own band, Hrvoje Šenjug & The Bypassers, and in 2023 released an original album titled The Cycle Continues, under the label Croatia Records.
Alongside his concert and performance activities, he is also an active educator, teaching classical guitar at the Music School in Varaždin.
